Greek Week Pack
The Greek Week Pack was amazing as well and extremely hectic. We were hoping to pack 50,000 meals and in order to get to that goal everyone had to pitch in and help. The jobs I did for the pack included: helping refill tubs with rice and soy, packing up meals into boxes and taking them to the truck, holding open bags to fill with vegetables, soy, and rice, making boxes (which might not sound too bad but we had to put together about 1,389 boxes). Once the pack was over we had to clean up and go back to the warehouse and unpack and put 40,000 meals onto pallets. And that was just my job. There were countless other LNI members that had just as many jobs if not more and of course all the volunteers that came to pack the food. Each pack that I am apart of, I feel like I am making a big difference and getting closer to all my LNI friends. It is also inspiring to see the warehouse fill up with all meals that we packed. The warehouse started out almost empty and now it is almost too full to move around. I am so happy that I was able to get involved with such a great club with such incredible people.
