My First Pack!

Hi! My name is Caroline (‘23), and I’m a new member to LNI! I went to my first ever pack in New Castle, IN, and what an amazing experience! I have been interested in LNI since I first heard about it when I arrived at Witt, but I had no clue what I was going to be a part of. The camaraderie between the LNI members was extraordinary! What was really amazing for me, however, was that even though most of the members I interacted with already knew each other, and were Juniors on top of it, they welcomed me in with open arms and included me in everything, including their hysterical antics (including Dr. Rosenberg 😂). As the pack started and more people arrived, you could really see the difference LNI makes. People from the community were packing bags as fast as they could, and with a smile on their face while they worked. I got to meet so many new people from the school that they hosted, and others from the community as well. It was so much fun to work while the music was bopping, and everyone was having such a fun time together. It’s amazing to believe that we packed 20,520 meals, when to me it felt like we were just dancing and laughing the whole time! Dr. Rosenberg and the students at Witt have created such an amazing community while helping such an amazing cause. This may have been my first pack, but it certainly won’t be my last!
