π Answering the Curious: Common Questions at Packs
Ever wondered what questions pop up during a packing event? We've got the answers! From the process to the impact, we addressed some of the most common queries that are asked at packs!
How do the LNI meals get to Lesotho? LNI meals travel from the US to South Africa via boat. From there, travel via truck into Lesotho.
How are the LNI meals cooked? LNI meals are cooked in a pot over heat. Water is boiled, meal contents poured in and then cooked for 20 minutes. The vitamin packet gets added in the last 5 minutes and then the meal is ready to eat!
Can Lesotho grow its own food? In a good year, Lesotho can only produce about 10% of the food they need. This is due to poor soil content and harsh climatic factors
