A Message from Dr. Rosenberg to our Partners in Lesotho

First, I want to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to all of our partners in Lesotho. Without your love and commitment to helping children in Lesotho, this would not be possible; thank you for the tireless work that you do. None of this could have happened without the hard work of Thabo Mosoeunyane, who made the initial introductions for us and who continues to assist with the logistics for every container. U ngoan’eso le motsoalle.

Our thanks go out to the staff at the World Food Program (WFP), who has overseen every container's offloading and who continue to help deliver meals. It is important to note that it was in our meeting with WFP staff 5 years ago that we became convinced of the necessity of focusing our efforts on childhood malnutrition and stunting. It was also WFP that steered us toward the country's hardest-hit district and introduced us to our largest and longest partner, Touching Tiny Lives in Mokhotlong.

LNI is lucky to be part of the incredible work that Nthabeleng Lephoto (u mosali ea makatsang leha o ka ntsosa ka linako tse ling) and the rest of the TTL staff do every day! Your fantastic work has allowed us to reach some of the most rural and vulnerable children in Lesotho! Me Nthabeleng, I will never, never forget the 4 days I spent with you doing visits and feeding babies at the safe home.

To His Grace, Archbishop Lerotholi, you have been such a tremendous help and have been a strong advocate and supporter of our project; you have helped us reach so many more children in Lesotho.

To Me Mabote at CARITAS, you have been so vital to making this nutrition project work; I cannot imagine what we would do without you. You have not only helped make this whole process go more smoothly, but you have also helped LNI reach more and more children in need.
